avrilesanders Review Criteria
I just checked my e-mail, and.. ta-da! Jessica unnie told me to write my reviewing criteria. I'm a little bit hyper to everything, so.. yeah, I'm detailed. Do you read that? HAHAHA. Well, let me introduce myself first. Hohoho. *So shameless.*
The name is Avrile. 13. Americasian. I review all type of fanfics; rated, smut, yaoi, yuri, Taiwanese, Japanese.. but I like Korean the most. Lols. I don't like to review male artist x female artist, btw.. but it's okay! If I like the storyline, the characters wouldn't be problems for me. Do you know Lee Byunghoon? L.JOE, L.JOE? JOE? Well, he is my legitimate boyfriend in dreams. Don't dare you to touch him!
Okay, I'll stop it. Let's just see my criteria! :) It's simple. Not too strict and confusing.
Title: /5
- how it is fits the storyline.
- originality.
- format (grammars, punctuation).
- creavity.
Introduction: /10
- characters should introduced.
- previews or hints to the story, don't make it too blur.
- author's note (this show readers the author's attitude or thoughts about the story).
- simple, organized, and format.
Appearance: /5
- poster and backgrounds (actually I'm not too harsh about this, it will hurt the maker's heart).
- font colors (if there are no posters posted, I'll see it from the font colors. Is it match or no.)
- neat, but does not burn my eyes off.
Flow & Writing Style: /25
- speed and the progress of the story.
- how neat your writing style is.
- capitalization, spaces.
- narrator's tone (first/second/third point of view).
- format, originality, and organize.
Plot: /15
- the whole idea of the story.
- consistent conflicts, story development.
- story's mood(s).
- cliche factor and creativeness.
Originality: /10
- how original your story is.
- story twists/conflicts (if it's romantic or dramatic story).
Grammar/Punctuation/Spelling: /15
- punctuation, spelling and grammars.
- I also understand if English is not your primary language.
Characterization: /10
- characters development throughout the story.
- how characters are described.
- simply, how the author presented the characters.
Overall Enjoyment: /5
- how much I enjoy your story, and other comments so that you could improve next time.
Total: /100
- I've seen a lot of reviewers have this, so if you scored;
92-100%: pure smartitudes and awesomeness run in your blood!
80-91%: oh, so good. But still need a room of improvement.
59-79%: you're willing, but still need a lot new inspirations.
less than 58%: relax, don't get too excited when typing or posting your stories. I suggest you to read a story with 92+ score, so that you could compare it to yours and see which ones are your mistakes.
Simple, right? Told ya! SO, what are you waiting for? Request now, kay? :**
